Stuart Jones
STUART
JONES was born in Monmouthshire, South Wales.
He now lives in Aberystwyth where he writes and teaches poetry.
STUART
JONES is an articulate and highly gifted poet.
He is represented here by, among others, the sexually climactic spinsterish
sensuality of 'The Rapture'; the strangely touching hardness of the glue-sniffer
in 'Games in the Park'; and the shifting emotional intensity of 'Sister-Dance';
where a couple stripping walls expose hidden emotional complexities from
the past.
He is a writer sympathetic to the frailties of the human condition - most
explicitly depicted in 'And I Leave as I Came' and 'Parkinson's'.
