
Dylan Jones has published one full-length collection of poetry;
'Dreaming Nightly of Dragons' (University of Salzburg 1996). Ten
of the poems are reproduced here.
He was also a contributor to the Gomer anthology of children's verse 'The
Poet's House' (Pont 2000), which was voted Children's Poetry Anthology
of the Year, and to 'The Lie of the Land' (Cinnamon Press 2006) - an anthology of
Anglo-Welsh writing sold in aid of The Meningitis Trust in Wales. His work has appeared in
various magazines and journals including 'Poetry Monthly'; 'The Anglo-Welsh Review'; 'The Western Mail'; 'Poetry Nottingham'; 'Interchange';
'Green Wales' and 'The Essex Countryside'. 
In July 2001 'Three Songs for Baritone & Piano' by the composer Penny Squire (a setting of three poems from the Salzburg book) was premiered at the Joseph Parry Hall, Aberystwyth. He has also published an extended essay 'On the State of the Working Poor' which appeared in the Welsh Internationalist magazine 'Planet'.
As well as recording a selection of his poetry on the jointly-produced 'The Next Worst Thing' (with poets Ruth Adatia & Stuart Jones), Dylan Jones has also recorded a CD of Selected Poems (Umbrella Head 2002).
